It was in November 2017 where a group of weekly futsal players decided to bring it to another level, to a bigger pitch; FOOTBALL. Torpedo Football Club is a social football and futsal club playing weekly friendlies and invitational games in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, Malaysia. Launched in January 2018, the club objectives lies in building a social team focusing on a recreational and healthy lifestyle. With almost seventy players (or more) from different backgrounds and nationalities, Torpedo Football Club has gone through more than sixty friendlies since it kicked off. The club name and logo, drawing inspiration from the torpedo bombing squad in World War II thus installing a ‘never say never’ attitude within the players and the backroom staff both on and off the pitch.
